Nufarm & Corteva

Nufarm is well-established, successful Australian Agricultural Chemical company with over 2000 products sold across more than 100 countries. Corteva is a major American agricultural chemical and seed company that was the agricultural part of DowDuPont until being separated as an independent company.  Both organisations are long term clients of Chaseman Global and have enjoyed the benefits that access to our exceptional talent network gives them.

The candidates that we work with are generally not actively looking for a new role, but are open to new opportunities if the right thing was to come along. 

Occasionally we come across outstanding candidates who we discover are open to new roles but not right for roles we have open at that time.  In these cases we aim to match them with clients we think they would be a good fit for, introducing them without knowing whether the client has a good opportunity for them.  This has worked really well for both  Nufarm and Corteva in the past.  It is the perfect example of how we help to better develop our clients businesses through the introduction of the best talent in the industry

The partnership we have built with Nufarm over the years means we know their ideal candidate exceptionally well. Often when we send across strong candidates, we’re not working with them on a retained basis, however the calibre of candidate means they'll find a new role at the company for them. 

A more specific example from Corteva was when we placed their Zonal Program Leader in Singapore recently.  We knew the candidate and had introduced her to a number of our key clients, but always thought Corteva would be the perfect fit - despite there not being a role we knew of at that time that would work.  After speaking to our HR contact in Europe we were quickly introduced to the Corteva HR contact in Singapore who was working on the Program Leader role.  The candidate made a great impression and was quickly offered this position.  Within six months she was promoted to Global Zonal Program Leader and the Corteva team are still delighted by their hire.
