Chicago Competitive Permanent
Our client set out to build sustainable solutions for where it mattered most: the food supply chain. The founders had the mission to reduce food waste on a global scale with easy-to-use, food-safe technology. Together, they created a suite of technologies with sustainability and efficiency in mind.
Today, over 150 growers, packers, and retailers of fresh produce use our client's products in their supply chain.
The Chicago-based early-stage agricultural technology company reduces food waste by developing technologies that extend the shelf life of fresh produce in the global supply chain. Our client's technology adds significant value to its customers' supply chains by helping growers and retailers enter new markets and reduce food rejection.
As Post Harvest Manager, you will be responsible for developing the technical skills of current personnel, designing agricultural trials and teaching staff to execute these trials. You will build on the company's research management process and enhance it by improving data and research management. As well as this, you are responsible for maintaining a safe laboratory work environment in the facility and on site.
You must interact with customers to provide support or organise field trials of products to show their benefits. The Post Harvest Manager will need to manage customer technical support activities, and more involved proposals (such as trials or new product rollouts) will require communicating with customers post-harvest.
