Our client is a family-run multinational company that has worked in agriculture for 28 years. It is headquartered in Germany, where a variety of global activities are managed. The company focuses on developing, producing and distributing chemical and biological products which are used in agriculture, healthcare, the food industry and plastics processing.
As Sales Manager for Germany, you will manage the sales aspect of our client's operations in the country while developing product penetration strategies, aligning and optimising according to regional strategies. Through this, you will develop and execute a plan to hit sales targets and expand the company's customer base.
You must have strong communication skills as you will be sourcing new distributors and maintaining current dealer relationships to ensure market coverage, training and supporting them to grow sales capability where necessary. You will also be required to visit distributors, farmers, institutions or attend events when needed.
Aside from distributors, you must develop long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and business objectives. You will identify new channels to grow the company's revenue and create monthly, quarterly and annul reports on your progress.
Within the business area, you will promote best practices as you nurture innovation and creativity to generate business strategies that support our client's long term vision.
The right person will have a minimum of 5 years' sales experience in crop protection.
