Main mission

  • Deliver annual commercial results and develop the strategy for growth of sub-region
  • Lead development of regional strategy for sub-region while liaising with the North Europe leadership team
  • Manage operations in sub-region to ensure legal compliance as well as corporate governance guidelines are met
  • Develop teams to execute the sub-region strategy

Major accountabilities

  • Lead, drive and implement the strategy which is focused on growth of the business in sub-region
  • Manage the P&L and all its parameters to deliver the annual EBITDA budget
  • Manage Net Working Capital for optimal cash generation
  • Build executive level relationships with distributors and customers to leverage the breadth of the company's product portfolio
  • Define annual sales budgets alongside sales managers
  • Drive and contribute to the region's 5 Year Strategic Planning Process
  • Work with peers to optimize S&OP process and other supply chain processes
  • Partner with the global & regional marketing & R&D teams
  • Build, lead, manage and coach managers and their teams
  • Coordinate closely with regional third party team to build strategic alliances with key accounts and third parties

  • BS Degree (Agrochemical, chemical and/or business economics)
  • 15+ years of industry experience in general management, sales management, sales director roles in an international environment
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in leading and energizing teams to develop and execute commercial growth plans in a competitive environment
  • Strong communication skills and confidence with executive level presentations

      Functional competences:

  • Commercial experience in the territory
  • Strong marketing or business development background
  • Independent results-oriented thinker with a strong drive and strong interpersonal and team building skills
