The role
A Series A peptide bioinsecticide company is appointing a Head of External Evaluation and Performance, a newly created role. It owns the evidence base for product performance across several parallel development programs, from planning external laboratory, greenhouse and field research through to decision-grade analysis for partners and leadership. The role reports to the Chief Strategy Officer.
What you will do
- Plan and run external laboratory, greenhouse and field research programs in support of Discovery and Product Development
- Develop study protocols with Discovery, Product Development and Regulatory
- Select and manage CROs, universities, consultants and field research collaborators across geographies
- Ensure studies run to protocol, timeline, budget and data quality standards
- Lead the analysis and integration of company and partner-generated trial data
- Produce finished performance insight for partner discussions and internal review and lead a field trials manager
What you bring
- Senior experience in field development or performance evaluation for crop protection or biologicals
- Strong statistics and trial data analysis skills
- Experience managing CROs and multi-site research programs
- Based in, or willing to relocate to, the company's North Carolina hub
