The role
A global post-patent crop protection manufacturer is appointing a Regulatory Lead for North America. Reporting to the Regulatory Director, North America, the role leads product development and registration activity for assigned market segments and advises management on current and future registrations.
What you will do
- Lead registrations for assigned products from initial concept through to state registration
- Ensure required studies and data are submitted to EPA and state regulators, including support for alternate active ingredient sources and defense of existing registrations
- Lead the preparation and submission of label and CSF amendments requested by Marketing, Formulation Development and Supply Chain
- Manage external contractors for studies, EPA submissions and state registrations
- Represent the company on industry associations, workgroups and active ingredient task forces
- Mentor team members and support the annual regulatory budget
What you bring
- Graduate degree in environmental sciences, chemistry or another agriculture-related discipline
- Strong working knowledge of US EPA and state pesticide registration
- Experience managing contractors and complex submissions
- Clear communicator who can advise senior management
